On behalf of the whole hospice team we would like to thank The James Honey Band for entertaining our guests at our Autumn Ball on Friday 2nd October.
We have received great feedback so far and we are delighted to announce the final total raised on the night is over £67,000, thank you so much for being part of the evening. As always, funds raised from our Autumn Ball will be used to help improve the quality of each day for our patients, helping them to live as actively as they can to the end of their lives – however long that may be and wherever that may be. The care we provide to our patients and their families is at no cost to themselves, however it does require us to fundraise £4.3 million from voluntary and other sources. This would not be possible without the unstinting support of businesses, organisations and individuals like yourself who give so kindly to our cause and help us to “make today matter”.

Sorry its taken me until now to get in touch! I've been meaning to email for ages to thank you and the rest of the band for such an amazing performance at our wedding at Lochgreen House on 29th March!!
SO many people who commented that the band really made the evening, including my mother who is notoriously judgmental of live music! I'm so happy that we asked you guys to play, one of the best decision of the wedding for sure.
It was really funny the day after and Ian's mum asked us, "Was I dancing to The Jungle Book last night?? Its been in my head all day!" You guys had such a good range of songs that kept the dancefloor mobbed all night which we just loved.
Sorry I wasn't able to speak to you for longer on the night but I hope everything went ok for you guys too.
We'll be sure to recommend you to any of our friends that are getting married in the near future but I'm sure if they saw you at our wedding that will be recommendation enough!

One very positive set of comments we received was from some of our older guests who stated that although they weren't dancing they were enjoying just listening to the music and that it wasn't the usual "noise" they have experienced at other weddings but enjoyable music. I have just returned to work today, So I wanted to thank you officially for the fantastic job you and your band did at our wedding at Drumtochty castle on Saturday 21st August.
You kept the dance floor busy all night, which is a first at the castle according to the Manager of the place. Everyone at the wedding kept asking me how I managed to book you guys for the wedding as they were so impressed by the really high standard of the music. So I enjoyed taking the credit for that during the night as you can imagine! The Manager of the Castle was so impressed by you guys that he said he was going to add you to his list for recommendations for the castle, which I can tell you is a small exclusive list.
We both had an amazing day and your performance at the end was the icing on the cake! I hope some time in the future I find an excuse to book you guys again for some other special occasion and will be recommending you to anyone I know looking for an excellent band.

Stuart and I just wanted to pass on our thanks to you for putting on a great performance at our wedding on Saturday. We were both really impressed by how well the dance floor was filled throughout the course of the evening, particularly considering some of our friends are usually ones to shy away from the dance floor. You played a great mix of songs, including those which we specifically asked for, and Stuart was particularly impressed by your rendition of the Queens of the Stoneage song 'No one Knows' which was his final surprise for the day.
Many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the music you played and the staff at Broomhall said that you were by far the most professional band they had ever had perform...no mean feat when in the last couple of years they have hosted well over 200 weddings!
Unfortunately we've not really got many pictures of our first dance but we're hopreful that it will have been nicely captured by our videographer. Providing my dance skills aren't too tragic (as dancing in a heavy dress isn't easy and I've got two left feet at the best of times) we'll try to share footage of our first dance once we receive it, but for now here are a couple of pictures taken by our guests, showing some happy dancers and theres a nice picture of you guys also.

Just wanted to say a big thanks to you guys for the fantastic set you put on for us and our guests a few weeks back at the Sherbrooke Castle. It really made our evening that extra bit special.
We didnt get much chance on the day to actually sit back and listen to you, but what we heard when mingling was absolutely perfect. We had so many of our friends and family ask about you and say you were great.
We sat down last week and watched our unedited video at my friend Johns. He filmed it in HD and it sounded brilliant.
John is also an avid music collector and he really really enjoyed your set - but I think he spoke to you a couple of times anyway.
Anyway, please pass our thanks onto the rest of the band and please keep us on your mailing list of future public gigs you are playing as we would really like to sit back and listen again.

Just back from honeymoon and I wanted to drop you a note to say a huge THANK YOU for playing at our wedding on the 3rd May.
